Pet Portraits

During the digital illustration course I did last year we had an assignment to draw our favourite superhero, and I was torn between many different marvel heros. So to stop that mental torment I decided to draw my old dog, Jenna, as a superhero. As, afterall, dogs are super heros. While we only had a week to complete the drawing I was quite happy with my final piece.

Then a few month later I realised I could do other pet portraits in this style (but without the superhero elements!), and I've really enjoyed doing each one.

Once my confident grew I added personal pet portraits to my Etsy shop, currently as a digital download. My next step is to research printing companies so I can offer printed pet portraits!
